1. The Reserve Bank of India Governor Shaktikanta Das has released the monetary policy update for April 2022.
A) In this update Repo Rate has been kept unchanged at 4 percent.
B) The Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR) is 4 percent.
C) The Statutory Liquidity Ratio (SLR) is 18 per cent.
D) The RBI announced that citizens of the nation can now withdraw money from ATMs without the usage of any cards in all the banks across India.
2. Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh will visit the United States of America between April 11-and 14, 2022.
A) Rajnath Singh along with Dr S Jaishankar will participate in the 4th India-USA 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue on April 11, 2022, in Washington DC.
B) Rajnath Singh is also scheduled to visit the Headquarters of US Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) in Hawaii.
3. On 6th April 2022, Union Minister for Jal Shakti launched the Digital Dashboard for District Ganga Committees (DGCs) Performance Monitoring System’ (GDPMS).
A) The digital dashboard has been launched to help the DGCs in enhancing the connection between the people and the river Ganga.
B) The DGCs utilise the assets created under Namami Gange to rejuvenate the river and monitor any sewage falling into the river.
4. Recently, the Global Wind Report 2022 has been published by the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC).
A) In this report, the wind energy sector had its second-best year but wind energy installations need to be increased dramatically so that it remains on track with the net-zero goals.

5. Recently Union Bank of India launched a super-app named UnionNXT and a digital transformation project SMBHAV.
A) In this project Bank investment outlay of around Rs 1,000 crore for the financial year 2022-23.
B) A banking super-app essentially combines several services, such as payments, online shopping, bill payments, recharges, investment, loans, and fund transfer, on a single platform.
6. Recently, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has an agreement with Israel Aerospace Industries to convert Civil aircraft to Multi-Mission Tanker Transport aircraft in India.
A) Under this pact HAL will convert pre-owned Civil aircraft into air refuelling aircraft with transport and cargo.
B) This MoU will facilitate IAI and HAL’s decades-long expertise in manufacturing, developing and producing leading defence platforms.
7. SEBI has constituted a committee that will make recommendations and review for the strengthening of government norms at stock exchange and market infrastructure institutions (MIIs).
A) The committee consists of six members and G Mahalingam, a former whole-time member of SEBI, will be chairing this committee.
B) The committee was constituted after the alleged corporate lapses of governance at NSE were revealed.
