1. Recently, Prabhat Patnaik won the Malcolm Adiseshiah Award for the year 2022.
A) Dr Prabhat Patnaik has taught at the Centre for Economic Studies and Planning in the School of Social Science at JNU, New Delhi.
B) The Malcolm Adiseshiah Award is annually given by the Malcolm and Elizabeth Adiseshiah Trust to an outstanding social scientist.
2.103 years ago, on 13th April 1919, the horrific Jallianwala Bagh Massacre took place.
A) On this day, General Reginald Dyer of the British Empire ordered his troops to fire upon the people who were protesting peacefully at Jallianwala Bagh.
B) This incident is referred to by some historians as the beginning of the end of British rule in India.
3. The Waterways Conclave 2022 was organized by the Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) on 11th and 12th April 2022 in Dibrugarh, Assam.
A) This conclave aimed to focus on harnessing the potential of the international and domestic waterway ecosystem in the country’s North-eastern region.
B) The industry partner of this conclave was the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI).
4. The government of Telangana has begun procuring paddy from the farmers of the state.
A) The announcement for procurement was announced by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
B) In Telangana, the production of paddy has seen a massive rise over the past few years, largely due to the availability of an abundant supply of water for irrigation, an uninterrupted power supply, and the Rythu Bandhu welfare scheme.
5. On 14th April 2022, the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.
A) The tickets have been priced at Rs 100 if it is bought online, and Rs 110 if bought in the offline mode.

7. The 3rd Marshal of the Air Force Arjan Singh Memorial Hockey tournament is scheduled to be held from 18 to 23 April 2022 in Chandigarh.
A) In this tournament, 12 teams from India and abroad including Air Force Hockey teams of Royal Canadian, Malaysian, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka Air Forces have been invited.

8. The 20th edition of the India-France Joint Staff talks was held in Paris, France on April 12-13, 2022.

10. Recently, the EX KRIPAN SHAKTI exercise was conducted at Teesta Field Firing Range near Siliguri in West Bengal.
A) This exercise was aimed at synergizing and orchestrating the capabilities of the Indian Army and the CAPF to fight an integrated battle.
