2. According to a report by the Wildlife Trade Monitoring Network (TRAFFIC), airports in India, including the IGI airport, are major channels for wildlife smuggling.
A) It says that over 70,000 native and exotic wild animals and their body parts and banned forest products around 4000kg were seized in 18 Indian airports between 2011-2020.

5. The Lok Sabha has passed the Delhi Municipal Corporation (Amendment) Bill so that three municipal corporations of Delhi (MCD) can be merged into a single entity.
A) This merger would ensure a robust mechanism and optimal utilisation of resources and omit the section related to local bodies.
B) The MCD was among the world’s largest municipal bodies and extended services to over 11 million citizens in Delhi.
