1. Recently, the Vice Chief of Army Staff, Lt.Gen.Manoj Pande has been appointed the 29th Chief of the Army Staff.
A) He will take over on April 30 when the incumbent, General Manoj Naravane is set to retire.
B) Lt.Gen. Pande is a graduate of Staff College, Camberley, United Kingdom and attended the higher command course at army war college, Mhow and National Defence College at Delhi.

3. Crypto lender Nexo has collaborated with Mastercard to launch the world’s first “crypto-backed” payment card.
A) This launch has signalled the move by financial and crypto networks to collaborate as digital assets are becoming more mainstream.
B) The crypto-backed credit card can be used at 92 million merchants across the world wherever Mastercard is accepted.
4. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said that NBFCs will now have to disclose their exposure to sensitive sectors, including real estate, loans against shares and securitised mortgages.
A) The new RBI also prohibits mid-layer and upper layer NBFCs from lending more than Rs 5 crore to directors, CEO or relatives of directors.
B) Non-banking finance companies (NBFCs) cannot lend to any company in which their directors or relatives are interested as a partner, manager, employee, or guarantor.
5. India’s first pure green hydrogen plant was commissioned in Jorhat.
A) Oil India Limited has taken the first significant step toward Green Hydrogen Economy in India with the commissioning of India’s First 99.999 per cent Green Hydrogen.
B) The plant produces Green Hydrogen from the electricity generated by the existing solar plant using a 100kW Anion Exchange Membrane Electrolyser array.

8. NITI Aayog and UNICEF India signed a Statement of Intent on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with a focus on children.
A) This seeks to formalize a framework of cooperation to launch the first report on the State of India’s Children – Status and Trends in Multidimensional Child Development.
