1) First Batch of Multi Mode Hand Grenades(MMHG) manufactured by EEL handed over to the Indian Army.

A) Grenade is not just more lethal but safer to use.

B) It has a highly accurate delay time, very high reliability in usage and is safe for carriage.

C) New Grenades will replace Grenade No 36 of World War 1 vintage design.

2) The Government of India relaxes rules for import of crushed and de-oiled GM soya cakes.

A) The decision will positively impact farmers, poultry Farmers and Fishermen.

B) Since Soya De-oiled and crushed cake does not contain any living modified organism, the Ministry has no concerns.

C) The said relaxation comes after clarification and prior permission from MoEFCC.

3) NITI Aayog and MoDONER to launch the first edition of North Eastern Region District SDG Index Report.

A) It is a collaborative effort by NITI Aayog and the Ministry of Development of north eastern region (DONER) along with UNDP.

B) Baseline Report has been constructed by NITI Aayog utilising 84 indicators which cover 15 of the global goals across 50 targets.

C) It measures performance of districts of the eight states of the North East region on the SDGs.

4) NITI AAYOG and World Resources Institute (WRI) jointly launch “Forum for Decarbonizing Transport”  in India.

A) It is launched as part of the NDC -Transport Initiative for Asia (NDC-TIA) project.

B) Project aims to bring down the peak level of GHG emissions in Asia.

C) Project is part of the International Climate Initiative(IKI).

5) India surpasses the USA to become World’s 2nd most desired manufacturing destination.

A) India’s ranking was reflected in Cushman and Wakefield’s 2021 Global Manufacturing Risk Index.

B) The index ranks 47 countries across Europe, the Americas and the Asia Pacific.

C) China ranks 1st in the Index.

6) India Signs deal with Russia for procurement of 70,000 AK-203 assault rifles.

A) The variant is an advanced version of AK -47 and its magazine can hold 30 bullets.

B) Unlike the INSAS rifles, these rifles never get jammed as these belong to AK series.

C) AK -203 assault rifle is considered to be the latest and most advanced version of AK-47 rifle.

7) The Ministry of Labour and Employment launched the e-SHRAM portal.

A) It will help in targeted identification of unorganised  workers.

B) The portal will help take the welfare scheme to their doorstep.
