4) Council of Energy, Environment and Water carries out first it’s kind district level Climate Vulnerability Index (CVI).
A) It has analysed 640 districts in India to assess their vulnerability to extreme weather events like Cyclones, Floods, Heatwaves and Droughts etc.
B) It helps map critical vulnerabilities and plan strategies to enhance resilience and adapt by Climate profiteering communities.
5) India successfully test fires Surface to surface ballistic missile called Agni-5.
A) The missile was launched from Abdul Kalam Island off Odisha Coast.
B) The missile uses a three staged solid fuelled engine which can strike targets upto range of 5000 km with high accuracy.
6) The Health Ministry asks States and UTs to launch district level campaigns “Har Ghar Dastak” for second dose vaccination.
A) The campaign is to be launched across poor performing districts.
B) Under the campaign vaccine vans will be introduced and exercise will be reviewed on a daily basis.
C) Currently 10.38 crore people are due to get their second dose of vaccine.
7) Indian government sets private sector led Non profit company to fast track implementation of “Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC)” initiative.
A) ONDC initiative will be implemented by DPIIT.
B) Aim is to democratise digital commerce in a bid to move it from platform centric model to an open network.
