1) ICRA in its report states India’s Electricity Demand to grow 8-8.5% in FY22.

A) Increase in demand was supported by a lower base,improvement of economic activity as well as lower than normal monsoons.

B) Energy demand in H1 of FY22 also remained higher by 2.9% in H1 of FY21.

4) New Drug “Molnupiravir” announced by pharmaceutical company Merck and Ridgeback Biotherapeutics to treat Covid 19.

A) Molnupiravir has reduced the chances of hospitalisation by half among Covid 19 patients with mild or moderate symptoms.

B) The drug has been named as EIDD 2801 by the company.

5) Chairman of Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog launched “Kamdhenu Deepavali 2021 campaign”.

A) Campaign was launched for manufacturing and marketing 100 crore Deepak Lamps and Laxmi Ganesh idols made of cow dung.

B) Cows will be economically used by utilising cow dung, cow urine along with Milk, Curd and Ghee.

C) The Gomaya Lamps were made by Cow entrepreneurs and Cow Owners.

6) IMF warns countries against adoption of Crypto currency.

A) IMF states crypto currency poses new challenges to financial stability and consumer protection risks remain substantial.

B) Total market value of all crypto assets surpassed 2 trillion dollars as 10 fold increase since early 2020.

7) Worlds largest Khadi National Flag installed at Leh in Ladakh on occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.

A) It was inaugurated by Ladakh Lieutenant Governor RK Mathur.

B) The flag has been made by Khadi and Village Industries Commission.

C) The flag weighs around 1000 kg.
