C) Bill adds that tenure of the director may be extended by up to one year at a time.

4) RBI announces PCA framework for Non Banking Financial Companies.

A) It is in line with the PCA framework for banks whose aim was to help improve their financial condition and governance issues.

B) Objective of the framework is to enable supervisory intervention at appropriate time.

C) Framework will apply to all deposit taking NBFCs, all non deposit taking NBFCs.

5) Wholesale Inflation based on WOO jumps to record 14.23% high in November.

A) The data has been released by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

B) Main reason was primarily due to rise in food prices, especially of vegetables, minerals and petroleum products.

C) It is the highest level of wholesale inflation in the 2011-12 series.

6) Parliament passes Delhi Special Police Establishment (Amendment) Bill 2021.

A) Bill seeks to amend Delhi Special Police Establishment Act 1946.

B) Bill permits extension of the tenure of CBI director up to one year at a time till completion  of 5 years.

C) Under the 1946 act minimum tenure of the Director of Central Bureau of Investigation is of two years.

7) Locally designed Heating System “Solar Haman” gaining popularity in villages of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh.

A) It is aimed at providing clean energy solutions to households across hill areas.

B) It provides 20 litres of boiling water within first solar illumination of 30-35 minutes.

C) More than 1200 Solar Hamam systems have been installed in Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh and Uttarakhand.

8) CCEA chaired by PM Modi approved implementation of PM Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) for 2021-26.

A) The total outlay of the scheme is 92,068 crores.

B) PMKSY is an umbrella scheme launched in 2015 that provides central grants to the state government for specific activities.

C) Components of PMKSY Per Drop More Crop are being implemented by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers welfare.
