1) PM Modi to host the India-Central Asia Summit along with 5 Central Asian Presidents.
A) Countries to participate are Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyz Republic.
B) It is the first India-Central Asia Summit.
C) All the countries to participate share boundaries with Afghanistan.
2) Kaziranga National Park conducts its waterfowl census.
A) It is a Tiger Reserve and a World Heritage Site.
B) The Census is conducted in 52 wetlands in the parks.
C) 126 species were spotted during the census and it used a point count method.
3) Prime Ministers of India and Mauritius to jointly inaugurate India-assisted Social Housing Units Project in Mauritius.
A) They will also launch Civil Service College and 8 MW Solar PV Farm projects in Mauritius.
B) Agreement on extending 190 Million US dollar Line of Credit to Mauritius for Metro Express Project.

4) Cabinet approves extension of tenure of National Commission for Safai Karamcharis (NCSK) for 3 years.

5) CCEA approves equity infusion of 1500 crore in Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA).
A) Equity infusion will help generate employment of 10,200 jobs/year.
B) IREDA is a mini Ratna company under administrative control of MNRE.
C) It was set up in 1987 to work as specialised non banking finance energy for the Renewable Energy sector.

8) The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs organises an online event The Streets for People Challenge.
