2. Ude Deshka Aam Nagrik(UDAN) has been awarded the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration 2020 under the category ‘Innovation(General)-Central’.
A) UDAN scheme is a flagship Regional Connectivity scheme under the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
B) Government of India has initiated this award to acknowledge, reward and recognize extraordinary and innovative work done by districts and Organizations of state/Government.
C) This scheme emphasises Good Governance, Qualitative achievements and last-mile connectivity rather than only on achievement of quantitative targets.
D) The award consists of a trophy, scroll and an incentive of Rs 10 lakhs.
3. Cryptocurrency exchange Coin DCX has closed an ‘oversubscribed’ series-D round, raising over 135 million dollars in funding.
A) This round of funding was led by Pantera and Steadview with participation from investors like Kingsway, Draper Dragon, Kindred and Republic.
B) The company is said to have doubled its valuation in this round.
C) CoinDCX had raised 90 million dollars in the series-C round in August when it became India’s first crypto unicorn.
4. On 20 April a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Indian Navy and Larsen and Toubro.
A) The MoU aims to engage as a knowledge partner for nurturing technology in various domains for induction into the Indian Navy.
B) It also aims to bring together the Indian Navy and L&T to collaborate on innovative and pioneering projects related to contemporary and emerging technologies of mutual interest.
5. India’s first pure green hydrogen plant was commissioned in Jorhat.
A) Oil India Limited has taken the first significant step toward Green Hydrogen Economy in India with the commissioning of India’s First 99.999 per cent Green Hydrogen.
B) The plant produces Green Hydrogen from the electricity generated by the existing solar plant using a 100kW Anion Exchange Membrane Electrolyser array.
6. Recently, West Indies white-ball captain Kieron Pollard announced his retirement from international cricket.
A) The 34-year-old Pollard, who made his ODI debut back in 2007.
B) He was a part of the 2012 ICC T20 World Cup-winning West Indies squad.

7. HDFC sells 10 per cent in its realty fund arm to ADIA for Rs 184 crore.
A) ADIA is also a primary investor with a 1 billion dollar investment in the company’s affordable housing fund picked up a stake in HDFC Capital.

8. On the occasion of Civil Services Day, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi conferred the Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Public Administration at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi today.
A) He said Amrit Kaal is not just for celebration or praising the past and the journeys from 75 to 100 years just cannot be routine. “India @100 can’t be routine.
B) The Prime Minister said that in our democratic set up we should be committed to three goals. The first goal is that there should be a change in the life of the common people in the country, their life should be easy and they should also be able to feel this ease.
9. Recently, India post payments bank launched ‘Fincluvation’.
A) On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) announced the launch of Fincluvation.
B) Fincluvation– a joint initiative to collaborate with the Fintech Startup community to co-create and innovate solutions for financial inclusion.
10. Atal pension Yojana total enrolments crossed 4 crores in March 2022.
A) For the financial year 2021-22, the 99 lakh APY accounts were opened.
B) The scheme had seen this tremendous success due to the active participation of all categories of Banks. Around 71% of the enrolments are done by Public-sector banks, 19% by Regional Rural Banks, 6% by Private Sector Banks, and 3% by Payment and Small Finance Banks.
