1. The National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) has Organised a Webinar On Waste Water Management.
A) The National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) in association with APAC News Network virtually organised the 6th Edition of the monthly ‘Webinar with Universities’ series on ‘Igniting Young Minds, Rejuvenating Rivers’.
B) The theme for the webinar was ‘WasteWater Management.’
C) In 2019, various departments dealing with water issues were merged to form the Jal Shakti Ministry to holistically deal with the challenges.
2. The first train set of India’s first Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) was recently handed over to National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC).
A) The train set was designed at Alstom’s Hyderabad engineering center and manufactured in Alstom’s factory in Savli (Gujarat).
B) It is an 82.15 km long semi-high speed rail corridor connecting Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Meerut. The corridor is under construction.
3. The mascot, official logo, theme song, and the official jersey of the Fourth Khelo India Youth Games were launched on 7th May 2022 at Panchkula, Haryana by Anurag Thakur, Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports.

5. Recently, Shigella bacteria has been found in shawarma samples in Kerala.
A) Shigella, which is one of the leading causes of diarrhoea worldwide, is a bacterium belonging to the enterobacter family. “Shigella infection, which is known as shigellosis, is an intestinal infection caused by a bacteria named Shigella and it affects the digestive system.
B) “The Shigella bacteria pass through your stomach and then multiply in your small intestines. They then spread into your large intestines (also known as colon), causing cramping in that part of your body, along with diarrhoea.
6. IISc develops 3D printed gloves to aid in physiotherapy for stroke victims.
A) In order to help stroke victims and patients with physical injuries, researchers in the Department of Physics at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) have developed a soft, wearable device that exploits the fundamental properties of light to sense a patient’s limb or finger movements.
