1) NASAs Cassini spacecraft detects high concentrations of methane, Carbon di-oxide and di-hydrogen in moons of Saturn.

A) TITAN has methane in its atmosphere and Enceladus has a liquid ocean with erupting plumes of gas and water.

7) RBI issues advisory to  banks and other Financial Institutions to stop LIBOR (London Interbank Offered Rate) soon.

A) India’s exposure to borrowings linked to benchmark is estimated to be around $331 billion.

B) LIBOR is the interest rate average calculated on the basis of estimates submitted by leading banks in London.

C) The rate is used to price debt instruments and derivatives such as currency swaps and interest rate swaps.

8) UP govt to launch New Policy on Population control on World Population day.

A) CM Yogi urged for a community centric approach to population control to provide people better facilities.

B) Poverty and Illiteracy are major factors for population expansion.

C) Total Fertility rate in UP at 2.7%, UP has been tagged as most populous state in the 2011 census.
