1. Jallikattu event banned by the district administration due to the rise of covid-19 cases.

A) District administration banned jallikattu events in Vellore, Tiruvannamalai, Tirupattur, Ranipet as part of safety measures.

B) Jallikattu also known as Eru Thazhuvuthal and Manjuvirattu.

C) As a part of Pongal, Jallikattu is practised in the state of Tamil Nadu annually in the month of January.

A) Asia infrastructure investment bank (AIIB) is a beijing multilateral development bank.

B) Urjit Patel is one of the 5 vice presidents with a tenure of 3 years.

C) China is the largest shareholder in AIIB followed by India,Russia and Germany.

3. KVIC introduces “Khadi handmade Paper slippers” to the devotees at Kashi Vishwanath temple.

A) KVIC began the sale of “Khadi Handmade Paper Slippers” to the devotees at the rate of Rs 50 per pair.

B) Khadi Handmade Slippers are used and thrown for the use of workers and devotees.

C) These handmade slippers will hold the sanctity of the temple and these slippers are made up of 100% eco-friendly material.

4. NATMO developed technology in which visually challenged students will have access to the Braille maps.

A) These Braille maps are designed and developed using Digital Embossing Technology, enabling them for ease of use.

B) National Thematic Mapping Organisation (NATMO) functioning as the attached office of the Department of Science and Technology.

C) The maps produced using this technology are not only useful for high-speed production of the maps but can also produce Braille Maps that can be used by more people for years together.

5. In West Bengal Gangasagar mela started from January 10, 2022.

A) Gangasagar mela started from January 10 and will continue till 16 January 2022 at Gangasagar Island of West Bengal.

B) Gangasagar mela is organised every year in the month of January during Makar sankranti festival.

C) High court gave permission to organise Gangasagar mela and took care of all covid-19 measures.

6. 4 Villages declared as revenue villages across Nepal Border in Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh.

A) Uttar Pradesh declared 4 villages as Revenue villages. These villages are:- Bhavanipur, Tedhia, Dhakia, Bichhia.

B) There are seven districts that share the border with Nepal.

C) By this declaration people of this village now get the benefits of all the government schemes.

7. Dassault Aviation will Fly its Rafale-M from the Indian Navy’s shore Based Test facility (SBTF).

A) In Goa, Dassault aviation will fly Rafale-M to check the compatibility and suitability to operate from Indegenous aircraft carrier Vikrant’s deck.

B) Dassault Aviation is a French aircraft maker.

C) This demonstration is expected to go up to 1 February, in Goa.

8. Grievance Cell was created by the Union Food Processing Ministry for maintaining uninterrupted supplies of food-related essentials.

A) The first similar cell was set up during the first lockdown of covid-19.

B) It has also taken steps for addressing production and logistic related grievances.

9. The Ministry of Home Affairs extended the deadline to notify the rules of Citizenship amendment rules (2019).

A) On december 11, 2019 this CAA act was passed by the parliament.

B) Six non muslim community get citizenship through this act.

C) These non muslim communities who entered in India on or before december 31, 2014 from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.

10. The Harmonised Guidelines and Standards for Universal Accessibility in India 2021, released by CPWD.

A) These Guidelines released by the central Public Works Department, under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

B) These Guidelines provide Universal accessibility but earlier only provide barrier free environment.

C) CPWD is charged with the public sector works such as building roads, bridges, flyovers and complicated structures etc. CPWD works under the ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
