1) RBI governor raises alarm on cryptocurrencies and pitfalls of digital currency.

A) Cryptocurrencies are a serious concern from a macroeconomic and financial stability point of view.

2) India launches an electric vehicle awareness web portal called “E-amrit portal”.

3) Cabinet approves restoration and continuation of MPLADS scheme.

4) Programme on “Nutrition Smart Village” will be initiated to strengthen the Poshan Abhiyan.

A) It will be done as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate the 75th year of Independence of India.
B) Initiative aims to reach out to 75 villages across India through the network of All India Coordinated Research project on Women agriculture.

5) CCEA approves reservation norms for mandatory use of Jute in packaging for the Jute Year 2021-22.
A) Jute industry occupies an important place in the National economy of India.
B) 75% of the total production of the Jute Industry is Jute Sacking bags of which 90% is supplied to FCI.

6) CCEA approves for fixing higher ethanol prices under the Ethanol Blended Petrol programme.

A) It is being done for ethanol derived from different sugarcane based raw materials.
B) Price of ethanol from C heavy molasses route was increased from Rs 45.69 litre to Rs 46.66 per litre.

7) National Internet Exchange of India launches “Digital Payment Gateway”.

A) NIXI is a not for profit company under the aegis of Meity.
B) NIXI has partnered with PayU and NSDL to offer payment gateway services.
