1) The Skytrax World Airport Award ranking 2021 states Delhi airport among World’s Top 50 best airports in 2021.

A) Delhi Airport emerged as the best airport in India for the third consecutive year.

B) Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru airport have also found a rank among World’s 100.

C) Doha Hamad International Airport has been ranked first.

2) Asia’s oldest football Tournament “Durand Cup”,130th edition to be held in Kolkata.

A) It is the World’s third oldest Football Tournament.

B) Tournament will be organised with support of  AIFF, IFA and Government of Bengal.

C) Mohun Bagan and East Bengal are the most successful teams of the Durand Cup.

3) 11th annual meeting of Forum of Election Management Bodies of South Asia (FEMBoSA) for the year 2021 inaugurated.

A) It was inaugurated by Chief Election Commissioner of India and Chairman of FEMBoSA Sushil Chandra.

B) Meeting was participated by delegations from Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Maldives, Bhutan, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

C) The meeting was held under the theme “Use of Technology in Elections”.

4) Maharashtra Government announces creation of New award “Rajiv Gandhi Award for Excellence in Information Technology”.

A) Award will be given to institutions and companies for their outstanding performance in IT.

B) State Govt of Maharashtra to talk with several organisations like NASSCOM to finalise modalities of award.

C) Award will be presented by CM Uddhav Thackeray.

5) Kaziranga National park becomes the 1st National Park in India to have been equipped with Satellite phones.

A) Satellite Phones will give an edge to forest Personnel over the poachers.

B) The public is barred from using satellite phones in India.

C) Assam State Disaster Management Authority had procured 10 satellite phones for Kaziranga.

6) Parliament passes the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (Amendment) Bill, 2021.

A) The bill amends National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020.

B) The bill specifies that all powers and functions of the Board of Governors will be deemed to have been done under 2020 act.

7) PM Modi to participate in “Atmanirbhar Narishakti Se Samvad”.

A) He will also interact with Women SHG members promoted under Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM).

B) DAY-NRLM aims at mobilizing rural poor households into SHGs in a phased manner.
