1) NTPC invites Global Expression of Interest to set up a Project on Hydrogen Blending with Natural Gas in India.

A) The project will be set across the city Gas Distribution (CGD) Network In India.

B) NTPC is India’s largest integrated power generation company.

C) The project will explore the viability of decarbonizing the natural gas grid of India.

2) Agricultural Ministers of BRICS countries held talks on BRICS Partnership for Strengthening AgroBiodiversity for Food and Nutrition Security.

A) BRICS countries have set up a strong agricultural research base.

B) Objective is to improve use and application of agricultural technologies to meet the needs of producers and processors.

3) India’s first Nasal Coir Vaccine gets Regulatory nod for further trials.

A) Nasal Covid vaccine has been developed by Bharat Biotech.

4) North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) launches “Cleancity App”.

A) The app will help residents to register complaints for picking up garbage in that area.

B) It is a mobile driven app.

C) App will provide citizens to look after the GPS location of Garbage lifting vehicles.

5) PM Modi launched the Vehicles Scrappage Policy.

A) Aim is to phase out old and unfit vehicles in an environment friendly manner.

B) Scrappage policy will come into effect after expiry of 10-5 year period.

C) The vehicle will then have to undergo a mandatory fitness test.

6) NITI Aayog releases “The Handbook For Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Implementation”.

A) It has been jointly developed by NITI Aayog, Ministry of Power, DST, BEE and World Resources Institute of India.

B) Objective is to enhance charging Infrastructure and facilitate a rapid transition to electric mobility in the country.

7) MoHUA launches “SonChiraiya” for marketing urban SHG products.

A) It mobilises women from Urban poor households into SHGs and their federations to create a support system for these women.

B) Many of these SHGs are engaged in livelihood activities, producing goods such as handicrafts, textiles, toys, eatables etc.

C) Initiative will prove a step towards increased visibility and global access for products made by Urban SHG women.
