B) Mahotsav scheduled from January 10 to 16 marks the 6th anniversary of India’s startup initiative.

C) Event will showcase startups across various sectors including Health, Agriculture, Space, Industry 4.0, Science and more.

8) Philippines approves 364.96 million dollars contract for purchase of shore based Brahmos Anti ship variant.

A) It is the First export order for Brahmos supersonic cruise Missile system.

B) It includes delivery of three batteries training for operators and maintainers as well as Integrated Logistics Support package.

C) Negotiations are in advanced stages with Indonesia and Thailand.

9) Union Minister Jitendra Singh states “Purple Revolution” is Jammu and Kashmir’s contribution to “Startups India” initiative.

A) The Aroma Mission launched by the Ministry of Science and Technology led to the well known Purple revolution in India.

B) It was launched with the help of CSIR.

C) CSIR-IHBT, CSIR-CIMAP, CSIR-NBRI and CSIR-NEIST are also now participating in Aroma Mission.

10) Chhattisgarh Government to launch an employment Mission called ” Rojgar Mission”.

A) Aim is to create 15 lakh job opportunities in the state in the next 5 years.
