1) PM Modi delivers a keynote address at 5th edition of VivaTech.

A) VivaTech is one of the largest digital and startup events in Europe held in Paris every year since 2016.

B) He invited the World to invest in India based on 5 pillars of: Talent, Market, Capital, Ecosystem and Culture of Openness.

C) It brings together stakeholders in technology innovation and the startup ecosystem.

2) PM Modi to launch “Customized Crash Course Programme for Covid 19 Frontline Workers”.

A) Launch will commence the programme in 111 training centres spread over 26 states.

B) It will create skilled non medical healthcare workers to fill the present and future needs of manpower in the Health sector.

C) Programme aims to skill and upskill over one lakh Covid warriors across the country.

3) CCEA approves the proposal of the Ministry of Earth Sciences on “Deep Ocean Mission”.

A) Objective is to explore the deep ocean for resources and develop deep sea technologies for sustainable use of Ocean Resources.

B) Estimated cost of the Mission will be Rs 4077 crore.

C) Ministry of Earth Sciences will be the nodal ministry implementing this multi institutional ambitious mission.

4) Bangladesh to set up an International Vaccine Institute in Dhaka.

A) PM Sheikh Paseena to sign an agreement with South Korea to set up an institute.

B) One of the Vaccine developing Bangladeshi companies is Globe Biotech ltd is now in trial stage.

5) The Ministry of Culture and MoPSW signed a MoU for cooperation in the development of the National Maritime Heritage Complex (NMHC) at Lothal, Gujarat.

A) Foundation stone for the project was laid in March 2019 by PM Modi.

B) It will showcase and preserve India’s rich and diverse maritime heritage.

C) Lothal is an Indus valley site and one of the oldest man made dockyards in India.

6) 3 day Virtual conference of BRICS Network Universities inaugurated at IIT Bombay.

A) Theme: Electric Mobility.

B) BRICS Network Universities is a union of Higher Education Institutions of 5 BRICS member countries.

C) The objective is to enhance Educational Cooperation in general and in the realm of Research and Innovation.

7) The Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry inaugurated 14 cross Disability Early Intervention Centres.

A) They are located at 7 National Institutes and 7 Composite Regional Centres.

B) These have been established under DEPwD.

C) These services will be provided under a single roof with an accessible and aesthetically designed environment.

8) MoTA launches ADI PRASHIKSHAN portal.

A) It is developed by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.

B) It would act as the Central Repository of all.training  programs conducted by Tribal Research Institutes.

C) It will catalyze and improve the process of conducting training by making it online and accessible to all.
