7) The Minister of Coal virtually launches New Rehabilitation and settlement policy applicable to landowners of NLCIL mines area.

A) NLC India Ltd. is a Navratna public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Coal.

B) New policy has provisions for enhanced amenities to protect affected families.

C) NLCIL has signed MoU with Tamil Nadu govt to impart Skill Development to youth under Skill India Mission.

8) The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs announced the initiation of Open Data Week.

A) It is being done to encourage adoption of open data and promote innovation across India’s urban ecosystem.

B) Event will see participation from all 100 smart cities publishing high quality data sets and data blogs.

C) Open data week is part of a series of pre-event initiatives undertaken by MoHUA to promote awareness and use of Open data.

9) PM Modi delivers a “State of World” special address at World Economic Forum Davos Agenda.

A) PM Modi said more than 50 lakh software developers are working in India.

B) Davos Agenda virtual event offers the first global platform of 2022 for World leaders to come together to share their visions for the year ahead.

C) PM Modi said compared to 100 startups in 2014, India today had more than 60 thousand startups.

10) ILO releases a report titled “World Employment and Social Outlook”.
