1) Minister for Panchayati Raj and Rural development launches “People’s Plan Campaign 2021-Sabki Yojana Sabka Vikas”.

A) He also launched Vibrant Gram Sabha Dashboard on the occasion.

B) Under the campaign each activity will promote commitment in the citizens towards a common goal of overall development of villages.

C) Minister also launched the 10th issue of Gramoday Sankalp Magazine.

2) PM Modi launches Swachh Bharat Mission Urban 2.0 and AMRUT 2.0.

A ) Schemes were launched at Dr Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi.

B) Schemes are designed to realize the aspiration of making all cities Garbage Free and Water Secure.

C) It will also help in achieving Sustainable Development Goals 2030 Targets.

3) The Minister of Labour and Employment launches DigiSaksham -a digital skills programme.

A) The program will enhance the employability  of youth by imparting digital skills that are required in an increasingly technology driven era.

B) Joint Initiative with Microsoft is an extension of Governments ongoing programs to support the youth from rural and semi urban areas.

C) Digisaksham will be implemented in the field by Aga Khan Rural Support Programme India(AKRSP-I).

4) The Minister of Commerce and Industry addressed the 2nd Global Fintech Fest 2021.

A) He stated India has the highest Fintech Adoption rate in the world at 87% against the global average of 64%.

B) Investment Flow in the Fintech sector has gone up to $10Bn since it started in 2016.

C) India is today one of the fastest growing Fintech Markets with more than 2100 Fintechs.

5) ONGC Videsh begins its exploratory drilling campaign in Bangladesh.

A) ONGC Videsh Limited is  a wholly owned company of ONGC limited.

B) The exploratory well is planned to be drilled to a depth of 4200 m and will be targeting two prospective formations.

6) UNCTAD releases UNCTAD Digital Economy Report 2021.

A) Report noted the Philippines as one among six countries that allows free flow of data across borders.

B) Free flow of data is required to boost the digital economy.

C) Other 5 countries allowing free flow of data across borders are Canada, Australia, Mexico, Singapore and the US.

7) The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment launches Senior Able Citizens for Re -Employment in Dignity (SACRED) portal.

A) Senior Citizens seeking work opportunities will be able to register on a first of its kind dedicated employment exchange.

B) Citizens above 60 years of age can register on the portal and find jobs and work opportunities.

C) SACRED job portal will serve as an enabler for people looking for work.
