1) FATF adds Turkey and retains Pakistan to the “Grey List of Countries”.

A) The watchdog had added three new countries namely Turkey, Jordan and Mali to the grey list.

B) There was no question of blacklisting Pakistan as for now it is cooperating.

C) FATF asked Pakistan to investigate and prosecute UN designated Terror terrorists like Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar.

2) HDFC, Mastercard and USAID have committed a $100 mn credit facility to small businesses.

A) It is done with the aim to expand lending to small businesses.

B) New credit facility will help small businesses that require financing for maintaining and growing their operation.

C) The credit facility will also enable recovery by means of digitisation.

3) NITI Aayog’s AIM launches a DigiBook – “Innovations for You”.

A) It is an attempt to showcase success stories of Atal Innovation Mission’s Startups in different domains.

B) The book is a compilation of 45 health tech startups incubated at Atal Incubation Centres spread across the country.

C) AIM is the GOIs flagship initiative to promote innovation and entrepreneurship culture in the country.

4) The Global Threat Assessment Report 2021 launches WeProtect Global Alliance.

A) Covid 19 had contributed to a significant spike in Child sexual exploitation and abuse online.

B) WeProtect Global Alliance is a global movement of more than 200 government, private sector companies and civil society organizations.

C) The findings show that in the past two years the reporting of child sexual exploitation and online abuse has reached its highest level.

5) Intel announces the launch of “Intel Unnati Program”.

A) It will help equip engineering students in India with data centric skills that are relevant for industry.

B) Intel has also planned to set up 100 Intel Unnati Data Centric labs by 2022.

6) The Caribbean Island Barbados elects the first ever president to become a Republic.

A) The move will remove Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II as head of state of Barbados.

B) November 30 marks the 55th anniversary of independence of Barbados from Britain.

C) Barbados was claimed by the British in 1625.

7) The UN sets up a Special Trust fund for Afghanistan.

A) It is being done to provide urgently needed cash directly to Afghans.

B) The special trust fund was set up through a system by tapping into donor funds which had been frozen since Taliban takeover in August 2021.

C) Germany is the first contributor to the fund.
