1) PM Modi backs Delimitation in Jammu and Kashmir.

A) Delimitation is the act of redrawing boundaries of an assembly or Lok Sabha Seat to represent changes in population.

B) The exercise is carried out by the Delimitation Commission whose orders have the face of law and cannot be questioned before any court.

C) Objective is to redraw boundaries so that the populations of all seats are the same throughout the state.

2) Department of Food and Public Distribution e-launched “NAFED Fortified Rice Bran Oil”.

A) Rice bran oil is the oil extracted from the hard outer brown layer of rice called chaff.

B) Rice bran oil has a composition similar to that of peanut oil.

C) The Oil is recommended by WHO as one of the best substitutes for other edible oils.

3) The Union Cabinet gave nod to the Inland Vessels Bill 2021.

A) It will replace Indian Vessels Act 1917.

B) Bill regulates safety, security and registration of Inland Vessels.

C) Key feature of the bill is unified law for the entire country, instead of separate rules framed by the states.

4) National Portal for issuing Certificates of Identity to Transgenders issues 1557 certificates in 6 months.

A) In November 2020, the Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment launched the “National Portal for Transgenders Persons”.

B) The Portal would help transgenders persons in applying for a certificate and identity card digitally from anywhere in the country.

C) It has been developed within 2 Months of notification of Transgenders Persons (Protection of Rights) Rules 2020.

5) FIRST Manned Mission of China planned in 2033.

A) Manned Mission will be launched with regular follow up flights.

B) Mission will be launched with a long term plan to build a permanently inhabited base on Mars and extract its resources.

C) Ambitious Plan will intensify race with US to Put humans on Mars.

6) Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to address USISPF Global Investors meet on June 24, 2021.

A) Fiscal Deficit was 9.3% of GDP for fiscal year 2020-21.

B) USISPF is a non profit organisation setup in 2017.

C) It aims to strengthen economic and commercial ties between both the countries by policy advocacy.

7) UN World Drug Report 2021 released by UNODC.

A) As per report 275 million people used drugs across the world in 2020.

B) 36 million  people suffered from Drug use disorders.

C) Most countries have reported an increase in use of cannabis during covid 19 pandemic.
