1) CCEA approves Fair and Remunerative Price (FRP) of  sugarcane at Rs 290 per quintal.

A) Cost of production of Sugarcane for the sugar season 2021-22 is Rs 155 per quintal.

B) FRP approved shall be applicable for purchase of sugarcane from the farmers by sugar mills.

C) FRP has been determined on the basis of recommendations of CACP.

2) The Ministry of Textiles is implementing the SAMARTH Scheme for Capacity Building in the Textile Sector.

A) First batch in each 63 training centres have been completed successfully benefitting 1565 artisans.

B) 65 new handicrafts training centres are being established to scale up the training program.

C) Scheme is formulated as per broad skilling framework adopted by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).

3) The Ministry of Jal Shakti began “SUJALAM”, a 100 day campaign to create more and more ODF plus Villages.

C) The week attracts participants from more than 130 countries.

5) Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) and AICTE to launch MANTHAN 2021.

A) It is a unique national initiative to identify concepts and technology solutions for addressing the security challenges of the 21st century.

B) Total Prize Money worth Rs 40 lakh will be given to winning teams.

C) Participants are expected to develop digital solutions under 6 themes for 20 different challenge statements.

6) 5th edition of India-Kazakhstan Joint Training Exercise “KAZIND-21” to be conducted at Training Node, Kazakhstan.

A) The exercise is a part of military diplomacy and to strengthen growing strategic relations with Kazakhstan.

B) The exercise is a joint training between both the Armies

C) Indian Army will be represented by a battalion of The Bihar Regiment.

7) Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman unveils fourth edition of PSB Reforms Agenda “EASE 4.0” for 2021-22.

A) It aims to further the agenda of customer centric digital transformation and deeply embed digital and data into PSBs ways of working.

B) Nearly 72% of financial transactions happening at PSBs are taking place through digital channels.
