1) NFHS data states one in two women undergo a Caesarean section (C section) who go to a private hospital.

A) 30 states and UT saw a rise in Caesarean section deliveries in NFHS-5 compared to NFHS-4.

B) C section can effectively prevent maternal and perinatal mortality and morbidity.

2) The Ministry of Communication states Starlink Internet Services is not licensed to offer satellite based services in India.

A) Starlink is a satellite internet constellation operated by SpaceX providing satellite Internet access to most of earth.

B) For rendering satellite services in India, a license from the Department of Telecommunications is required.

C) SpaceX was founded in 2002 by Elon Musk.

3) CEC Sushil Chandra said India witnessed a 235.72% increase in female voters.

A) Many initiatives have been taken by ECI to enhance women’s participation in the country.

4) Farmers demand legal guarantees for MSP of all their crops.

A) The Central government sets a MSP for 23 crops every year based on a formula of one and a half times production costs.

B) There is currently no statutory backing for these prices nor any law mandating their enforcement.

C) Government only procures about a third of wheat and rice crops at MSP rates and 10-20% of select pulses and oilseeds.

5) IOC, BPCL and HPCL announce launch of Model Retail Outlet Scheme.

A) It is being done to enhance service standards and amenities which serve over 6 crore consumers everyday.

B) Scheme involves an intense 5 level evaluation process of over 70,000 retail outlets in the country.

C) Digital Customer Feedback program called Darpan@petrolpump was also launched.

6) The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship launched a project on revival of Namda craft of Kashmir under PMKVY 3.0.

A) Another project for upskilling of artisans and weavers of Kashmir under Recognition of prior learning (RPL).

B) Objective of these projects is to boost and preserve the traditional Namda Craft of Kashmir.

C) Namda project will benefit 2250 people of 30 Namda clusters from 6 districts of Kashmir.
