1) Home Minister releases training manual of Aapda Mitra Scheme.

A) It was released on occasion of 17th foundation day celebrations of “National Disaster Management Authority” (NDMA).

B) Foundation day of NDMA was celebrated under the theme: Stopping Impact of Disaster Incidents in Himalaya Region.

C) Aapda Mitra Scheme will soon be launched in 350 districts of India.

2) Union Agricultural Minister Narendra Singh Tomar launches “Amul Honey”.

A) Amul Honey is a product of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation ltd.

B) Product was launched under Cooperation with the National Bee Board.

C) Budgetary Allocation of Rs 500 crores have been made for this mission.

3) The Ministry of Defence enhances the income criteria for grant of family pension to children suffering from mental or physical ability.

A) Financial benefit in such cases shall occur with effect from 2021.

B) Presently children eligible for family pension is not more than Rs 9000 along with dearness relief thereon.

4) International Day for Universal Access of Information observed on September 28 by UNESCO.

A) Theme: The Right to Know-Building Back better with Access to Information.

B) The day focuses on making information  accessible to all in order to develop a robust structure of sustainable policies in society.

C) IDUAI was proclaimed on October 15 2019 at the 74th UN General Assembly.

5) World Maritime Day observed on September 30.

A) It is observed to appreciate the importance of maritime industry and to underline the importance of maritime security,safety, environment and shipping.

B) Day also marks adaptation of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) convention.

C) It was first observed in 1978.

6) The Minister of Health and Animal Husbandry unveiled the National Action Plan for Dog Mediated Rabies Elimination by 2030 (NAPRE).

A) Ministers urged all states and UTs to make Rabies a Notifiable Disease

B) They also launched Joint Inter Ministerial Declaration Support Statement for elimination of Dog mediated Rabies from India by 2030 through One health Approach.

7) “Covid Teeka Sang Surakshit Van, DhanaurUddyam” campaign launched by Arjun Munda.

A) It is done to accelerate the pace of vivid vaccination among tribal communities of India.

B) TRIFED in collaboration with UNICEF and WHO has planned to roll out this campaign across the country.

C) Campaign is based on 3J’s Jeevan, Jeevika and Jaagrookta.
