1) CCEA approves doubling of Neemuch-Ratlam as well as Rajkot-Kanalus railway lines.

A) The estimated cost for each project is over 1000 crore.

B) Both projects are targeted for completion by 2024-25.

C) Rajkot-Kanalus section is part of busy Mumbai-Ahmedabad-Viramgam-Okha Section.

2) The Indian Navy and Australian Navy sign “Terms of Reference” for conduct of Navy to Navy talks.

A) It is being done under the framework of the Joint Guidance for the India-Australia Navy to Navy Relationship document signed by two navy chiefs in August.

B) It is the first such document signed by the Indian Navy with any country.

3) MoHFW and the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying release “National Action Plan for Dog Mediated Rabies Elimination by 2030(NAPRE)”.

A) It was released on World Rabies day.

B) The action plan was introduced as a roadmap to eliminate rabies by 2030.

C) NAPRE aim is to reduce Human Deaths,caused due to dog mediated rabies to zero by 2030.

4) Right Livelihood Award 2021 conferred to Environmental Organisation “Legal Initiative for Forest and Environment(LIFE)”.

A) The award is also known as Sweden’s Alternative Nobel Prize.

B) Award was established by Ole Von Uexkull who is executive director of Right Livelihood.

C) Award honours and supports people in solving global problems.

5) Amazon launches the “Amazon Future Engineer” programme in India.

A) Amazon Future is its global computer science education programme.

B) It will enable access to quality computer science education as well as career opportunities for students from underrepresented and underserved communities.

6) DAC accorded Acceptance of Necessity (AoN) for Capital Acquisitions proposals for modernization and operational needs of Indian Armed Forces.

A) Of the total amount approved procurement worth 11,486 crore is from domestic sources.

B) Key approvals include Helicopters, guided munition and rocket ammunition .

7) The Minister for MSME inaugurated the Indian Export Initiative and IndiaXports 2021 Portal of India SME Forum in New Delhi.

A) It aims to orient MSMEs free of cost with the objective of focussing on untapped export potential in existing tariff lines.

B) Initiative targets 1 Lakh+ MSMEs desirous of knowing more about exports and hand holding 30,000+ MSMEs to start exporting, doubling the base of active exporters.
